After high school, I went to UCLA to study applied math, and worked in the software industry for a few years.  Then I went over to Northrop Grumman and now am doing finance there.  I'm also back in school part time at USC working on a masters.

Lived in the Bay Area and SF for a long time after school, where I spent years defending SoCal to obtuse NorCAl vegitarians. Moved back down to Hollywood only to discover that they were right! 

Since graduating UC Santa Cruz I have worked as a Plumber, a Baker, an EMT, a Property Manager, a handywoman and posed as a geologist for an Environmental Engineering firm. I will be going to school in the Fall for an MA.

This whole 10 year thing is starting to make me feel old... ;) Hmmm... well, after high school I went to UCSB to swim (big surprise). I graduated in 2002 with an English lit. degree, did a little traveling in the next year (Australia, New Zeland and to visit my sis in Hong Kong), served my time as a starbuck's barrista and then, went back to school again a bit later... So, aside from my exciting day job working in client accounts receivable and payable, I am really a 'super student'... working on year five of my graduate degree in 'women's studies in religion'... ugh. Its okay though-- by next spring I will be Sarafryk, PhD! Yey! ... now if only I could get past chapter one of the dissertation....

I've spent the past few years making records and touring with various music and dance projects.  I currently make pop music with my band Telepathe. Recently some Australians and Norwegians heard our songs and actually paid for us to go their countries and perform for them.  I also have a dance/music collective called Skint which performs improvised dance over an unlistenable soundtrack.  Looking forward to seeing everybody!
