Just moved to Portland, OR about a year ago with my husband.  After grad school and teaching in LA for a few years, we decided it was time to move.  I'm still in education, just not teaching at the moment.  Don't think I will be able to make the reunion because my brother is actually getting married the next weekend.

I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2001 with a BA in Art History and a minor in Education. I earned a Master's Degree from Stanford in 2002, in the Social Sciences of Education, focusing on arts education. I have been teaching elementary school in LAUSD for 6 years (mostly 3rd and 5th grades). I founded and operate a Mexican folklorico dance group at the school where I teach. That's been going for 4 years. I am looking to switch to a junior high school to teach math and science next year. A lot has changed in the last 10 years, but I am proud to say that I am still very close friends with the two lovely ladies pictured with me in the high school graduation picture.

OMG......I can't believe it's been 10 years! What can I say...Life is good!  Where do I began...I attended Vidal Sassoon Academy in 01', I've been working in the beauty biz for the past 7 years ( LUV IT ); In 06' I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, and as all you mothers out there know, childbirth is one of the most amazing things a woman can do!  Motherhood has been transformational....can't wait to have more babies!  I am currently working towards my BA in Business Administration with a minor in English at CSUN, who knows....I may need a career change for my thirties!  That's me in a nutshell.  There's really not much to it, I have a special someone in my life and I just really enjoy working on my craft and being Milla's Mommy!  Can't wait to see everyone....Peace.

Wow, I can't believe that it's already been 10 years! After SPHS, I got a BS in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at UC Davis, then came down to do research at Cedar-Sinai for a year while applying to medical school.  Since then, I've graduated from medical school and started my Pediatric Residency at Kaiser Sunset, which is proving to be a tremendous learning experience, lots of fun, and completely exhausting. Besides academics, I also managed to meet the love of my life, Steve, who I met almost 6 years ago and married in April 2007.

I went to the Air Force Academy after high school but then dropped out on the eve of graduation due to controversy over a tattoo...sometimes I regret it.  Now I live in France in Lyon and play semi-professional water polo and coach the swim team and work in the grocery store that sponsors our team.  I am still allergic to shirts.  I also regret that unlike the clever and witty Michael Azat, I failed to compose this update in the third person.
