Occupation: Costumer
Marital Status: Committed Relationship From Raina: My sewing and theater hobbies in High School have turned into a full-fledged obsession! I have been sewing now very seriously for the last 10 years, and even have a degree in Costume Design for theater. (I got to make some GORGEOUS stuff while I was at school! Loved Historic Costume!) I've been jobbing around at various LORT theaters, though not always in wardrobe. I did a year internship as a scenic carpenter, as well as random work as an electrician here and there. Currently I am a stitcher/dresser at Knott's Berry Farm. I like it when my boyfriend tells people that I work in "Themed Entertainment", which has a better ring to it I think than saying that I work at a theme park. Despite it sounding less than glamorous (and it is) it is still one of the best jobs I have ever had. I absolutely love it! And hey, I am in the arts... so I am well-equipped emotionally to accept the terrible pay! Despite doing it for a living now, I still like to sew in my spare time. I even made my sister's wedding dress. (Awwww!) My geekiness has naught but increased in the intervening years, to what some might regard as a terrifying level. Luckily for me, my boyfriend is not only an incredible sci-fi/video game geek, but is himself a theater geek, so he puts up with me better than most, and we can revel in our geekiness together. |

painter Marital Status: Single From Jennifer: Hated life in high school but now loving life and it's opportunities. I've been clean and sober for 8 years now, attending narcotics anonymous and helping other women who struggle with addiction. I hope one say to transfer to UC Berkeley and get my degree in mathematics but I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I was very fortunate to have been able to study abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester in 2004 and return to Europe in 2007 for a backpacking experience of 7 weeks in turkey, Greece, and southern Italy and sicily....something I will never forget as long as I live. I can't believe its been so long since high school but I look forward to seeing the faces I remember...some since kindergarden! |
